An exciting Business Unit Head - Oncology job has just become available at a global pharmaceutical company. Based in Singapore, this position is a people leadership role with business crucial responsibilities.

About the Business Unit Head - Oncology Role:
This is a replacement role, responsible for business strategies to ensure that the oncology business infrastructure are in place to achieve critical milestones in SG/MY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and approve annual strategic brand plans aligned with the global strategy for oncology products
• Collaborate with local pricing and market access colleagues to effectively communicate value, drive access, and support patient care
• Manage full P&L responsibility and implement marketing and sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and deliver value to customers
• Lead and develop a team of Oncology Business Managers
• Ensure marketing strategies are translated into effective implementation tactics
• Ensure successful product launches by implementing launch excellence processes and plans
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to the entire business unit team

The successful Business Unit Head - Oncology has a strong understanding and experience with the oncology business.

Key Requirements:

• 10 years of experience in the ethical pharmaceutical industry, with at least five years in people management
• Strong background in both sales and marketing
• Strategic thinking and planning skills with a proven track record of driving sales to profitability
• Experience in budget management and resource allocation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior leaders
• Ability to conceptualise branding solutions and leverage local market networks for innovation and competitive advantage
• Experience in the oncology field
