Job Description
The Opportunity:Our client is an American OEM specializing in the design, manufacture, and servicing of capital equipment for semiconductor industry. We are currently seeking an experienced Buyer, reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Director, to be responsible for vendor management, and sourcing activities. This incumbent will also need to attend to night calls/meetings with US counter parts.

- Mon-Fri 9AM-6PM
- Basic up to $4,000 + AWS + Variable Bonus
- Manage strategic supply implementation for low volume/high mix parts and assemblies.
- Accountable for cost, quality, delivery and inventory management for subset of suppliers within the region.
- Monitoring of daily reports, MRP and Vendors to ensure timely delivery to manufacturing plant.
- Procurement of materials for both manufacturing and aftermarket.
- Suppliers\' performance evaluation on metrics.
- Coordination of any purchasing related activities with production, aftermarket, and engineering teams.
- Implementation of lean programs.
- Inventory management.
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Supply Chain/Purchasing or any other related faculties.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in Purchasing environment.
