Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Sourcing engineering parts
- Evaluating suppliers, products, and services and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality
- Establish programs for developing supplier relationships, negotiations and performance management / feedback
- Planning for the purchase and managing of parts under JIT, stocking and VMI programs
- Develop and implement effective cost management programs to deliver optimized Total Cost of Ownership and continuous cost improvement
- Manages delivery control to ensure order fulfilment and timely deliveries
- Degree in Engineering or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years’ experience in procurement environment
- Good understanding of manufacturing process/system
- Resourceful, good initiative and avid learner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle EBS
- Possess good negotiation skill
- Willing to travel
