The Opportunity:

• Adecco is partnering our client, a well-known Tech MNC
• We are looking for individuals with prior experiencein category management in the consumer IT vertical (preferably hardware)
• Hybrid work: Expected in the office at least 2-3 days each week
• The role will start out as a contract position

The Talent:

• At least 3 years of experience in Consumer IT (Retail, e-Commerce) in Category Management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel (vlookup and pivot tables), PowerPoint.
• Ability to analyse data required
• Proven track record of being an independent and proactive individual - be able to speak up and ask questions when in doubt

• Planning and coordination work with the wider team across SG, SEA and India of different functions
• Develop and execute category strategies, promotions and action plans to achieve sales and margin targets
• Manage the product lifecycle, from launching of new products, to optimizing and discontinuing end of life products
• Analyse sales data, market trends and insights, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges for assigned category
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to create and execute effective campaigns and promotions for assigned category
• Monitor and report on the performance of assigned category, using various metrics and tools
• Manage inventory of IT devices in Singapore
