DESIGNATION : Category Manager (Vegetables)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive sales, profit and market share through implementing strategic initiatives for the assigned category
• Source, implement and manage an optimal product mix
• Manage pricing strategy, promotional plan and ensure price competitiveness
• Price negotiation, establish and maintain strategic partnership with the suppliers
• Work with various stakeholders to ensure sustainability of supplies/monitor stock movement and business continuity

• Diploma / Degree or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the buying industry
• Experience in the retail will be an added advantage
• Able to lead a team, and work independently
• Motivated, meticulous and results oriented
• Resourceful and problem solving
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player and ability to collaborative and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
