Job Description


The role leads Category & Shopper Marketing efforts for the Snacks category for the AMEA region focusing on Look of Success by Retail environment, Portfolio Architecture, RGM, Winning in Key Occasions & Building Shopper marketing Capabilities.

As a core member of the AMEA Snacks Commercial Team, the key focus area for the role will be to lead the Trade & Shopper Strategy plans in the above 3 focus areas in line with 3yr strategic plans. You will work closely with the Snacks Commercial Director & the cross-functional team within market (Brand, Supply Chain, Finance, etc) and Regional Commercial stakeholders to deliver the plans as aligned.

HERE\'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU\'LL BE DOING

  • Winning Shopper/Trade Look of success by Channel
  • Create & deploy the shopper toolkit for Focus Channels (SHM, CVS & E-Commerce)
  • Identify the Key levers of Assortment Merchandising Price Promotions Shelving, defining the KPIs for success & enabling sustained performance management system.
  • Collaborate with the Pringles Commercial teams in the market to customize the look of success, Align the right KPIs & Build capability in the market to execute the identified plans.
  • Automating the KPIs measurement to build a sustainable periodic review measurement dashboard.
  • Lead the periodic reviews with the Market & Regional snacks leadership.
  • Portfolio Architecture Strategy & Implementation
  • Understanding & developing the by market portfolio architecture aggregating to the overall region in line with the 3 yr. Snacks portfolio Strategy
  • Developing 3yr roadmap of snacks portfolio strategy across Size & Flavor segments by markets in line with affordability pyramid to achieve the right mix of business within the various parts of the pyramid.
  • To ensure the developed portfolio strategy delivers the Key business KPIs: Unlocking Topline, Better Premiumization & Higher Gross Margin
  • Work with Market & Cross functional teams (Brand, Supply Chain, finance & I&A) to align the strategy & lead on time in full implementation of portfolio plans as per the Annual operating plans for the current year.
  • Work with cross functional teams on projects to explore and ensure readiness for Future portfolio actions.
  • Setting up the right review mechanism to track the progress on plans and take corrective actions.
  • Winning in Occasions, Product Innovations & New Categories
  • Work in collaboration with Marketing & I&A to drive Scalable Occasions & Product Innovations/New categories in which Kelloggs Snacks has the right to Win across Key Markets.
  • Develop the complete shopper mix: Assortment, Promo, Communication & Merchandising - Look of success for each occasion by retail environment.
  • Define the Key Metrics for Success - Topline & Profitability.
  • Develop the complete business plan for scale up across the region for the selected occasion/New Category play.
  • Work with Market & Cross functional team implement scale up with the look of success implementation.
  • Setting up the right review mechanism to track the progress on plans.
  • Driving Revenue growth management (RGM) initiatives
  • Run an RGM analysis for the markets to identify the opportunities on promotion effectiveness, PPA, Pricing and mix management.
  • Closely track the API and Weighted mean price of our brands in the market and identify opportunities at a pack level.
  • Align the annual RGM initiatives and track and review performance.
  • Drive Trade promotion governance and ensure spends are in line with the aligned budgets.
  • Building shopper marketing capabilities
  • Working closely with the regional Trade marketing team to build to the right shopper marketing insights for the market.
  • Continuously improving the instore KPIs based the shopper learnings.
  • Work closely with the OPS team to support & build their capabilities to improve in store execution.
  • Winning with Customers/Partners
  • Develop JBP Capability development for TOP Customers by Market.
  • Develop 2-3 years Growth strategy for focus channels by Market.
  • Developing Picture of Success & Toolboxes to implement the strategy.
  • Implementation & Tracking of Agreed plans.
  • Projects
  • Lead and support the in-market specific leg for snacks projects by providing the relevant trade, category and market information to the project teams and help build the initiative pipelines collectively with the commercial team.
  • Best practice sharing
  • The role demands close working with cross functional counterparts in the region and markets and will require the incumbent to share with the cross functional regional and market team knowledge and learnings on the shopper, trade, channel and geographical developments.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
  • Minimum 10 years work experience combined with 3-4 years within Sales across multiple channels.
  • Proficient in the commercial understanding of the business.
  • Exposure to Trade marketing, Account Management and Sales Operation.
  • Solid understanding of trade structures and trade promotions.
  • Deep analytical skills and understanding of analytical tools such as KUBE and Nielsen Software.
  • Experience working in a multinational and matrix organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of building strong business relationships.
  • Comfortable with working in a cross functional setting and be adept with influencing skills.
  • Experience of project management is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in new business initiatives/projects from scratch such as product launches, large scale activations, GTM setup is an added advantage.
  • Candidates with prior multicultural / geographical exposure have an added advantage.
