Details of the Division and Team:
This is a cross product Regional Client and Business Enablement role, providing Operation expertise to business and clients to deliver workflow automation solution, platform enablement and advising on Operational readiness requirements for new products in the emerging markets within and outside of APAC.
This role requires the ability to liaise and work in partnership with different business desks and infrastructure groups in APAC, and London, which consists of:
Sales/Trading and Business Management
APAC TSCO and Corporate Bank Operations
Delivery Hubs in Manila and India
Emerging Market Access Ops team in London
Regional Middle Office
Legal, Compliance
E-Commerce and Client Onboarding team
Technology partners

Your key responsibilities:
Map client workflow solution and standardize operation implementation steps and processes for both hub and spoke booking models
Design and build automated solution arising from manual process implemented for client and workflow enablement
Enabling DB or industry vendor confirmation platforms with clients, including system demo
Establish process workflows in new markets and products, including assessment on risks and controls, regulatory reporting, and exception handling.
Design workflow for one-off structured transactions with back-to-back flows, with considerations on controls and regulatory requirements across the different legal entities.
Assess and map operational workflow change impact from market and regulatory changes, as required.
Active Participation in the weekly Corporates and Institutional Clients pipeline meetings with business stakeholders as well as breakout sub-working groups
Prioritize in core application BOW requirements and participate in Scrum / Sprint discussions with Core Technology
Liaise directly with Sales, Business Management and Branch Operations to define and deliver new Reporting requirements e.g new or amended reports on reporting platform
Provide MIS reporting, highlights to Business and Senior Operations Management on weekly basis on the progress of pipeline deals managed and its implementation.
Adhoc visits to clients with relevant Sales & Client Services to educate on workflow and platform on boarding
Your skills and experience:
The candidate should have at least 5 years of Investment Banking experience in a role with settlement knowledge in Foreign Exchange and Derivatives.
Minimum 2 years of experience required in liaising directly with Sales, Business Management, Branch Operations and Cross Divisional functions.
Strong problem-solving skills/ability to hold clear and concise communication with business partners and external clients
The candidate should possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). A service mentality is pivotal to the role to ensure a culture of client focus.
Strong desktop PC skills incl. a good knowledge of Microsoft package
Strong analytical and data management skills
Excellent team player with effective communication skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Good negotiation skills and the ability to manage individual clients\xe2\x80\x99 expectations.
Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
