Your key responsibilities:
  • Trade capture and modelling of new trades, review P&L and risk of our products.
  • Support Regional Hub Singapore and Asia traders with P&L analysis of their portfolio.
  • Perform/Review month end procedures for reporting purposes.
  • Manage stakeholders and offshore team to explain P&L and any issues that may arise.
  • Participate in inspections and audits by regulators and auditors (internal and external)
  • Partner with business and other infrastructure groups on initiatives and issues.
  • Lead in re-engineering projects, including innovative self-improvement of processes and control procedures.
  • Ensure control processes are in place around the production cycle of P&L reports.
  • Observe regulatory and compliance requirements related to the products/business/bank.
  • Work with senior stakeholders to standardize optimal booking practices and reducing operational risk on complex product valuation.
Your skills and experience:
  • Minimum experience of 8 years from a major international Investment Bank, working in a Product Control function or Middle Office Department.
  • Proven technical knowledge of Financial Products, Modelling Trade Capture processes, Reserve Calculation and/or IFRS Accounting.
  • Working experience in various asset classes of Exotic Valuations such as hybrid Credit or Equity or FX.
  • Strong inter-personal skills as constant interaction with stakeholders and partners is expected.
  • Working on driving continuous improvement of processes and workflow.
  • Possess intellectual curiosity in valuation problems and high motivation to succeed in assignments.
  • Strong analytical skills and thorough, whilst being able to communicate complex information to a wide variety of stakeholders
Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
