Job Description


We are recruiting a head chef with at least 10 years experience in the preparation of Korean food for a restaurant in Bukit Timah. The main responsibilities of the head chef would include:

  • preparation of a range of Korean cuisine and revamping the menu from time to time;
  • ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen;
  • maintaining the general cleanliness of the kitchen in line with hygiene standards expected of F&B industry;
  • taking stock of food and placing orders with suppliers;
  • handling customer compliants;
  • training other kitchen staff;
  • ability to converse in Korean and simple English in order to place orders with local and Korean suppliers and to handle customer complaints;
  • excellent time management abilities
  • up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
  • willing to work overtime, weekends and on public holidays.
