Prepare and cook authentic Turkish cuisine, including kebabs, mezes, grilled meats, breads, and traditional desserts.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of dishes according to restaurant standards.
Plan and manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, portion control, and inventory.
Maintain proper food hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) standards.
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and minimize wastage.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow.
Create and suggest new Turkish dishes or seasonal menu items to attract customers.
Work closely with management to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth service.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Turkish Chef or specialty cook, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of traditional Turkish recipes, spices, and cooking techniques.
Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Willing to work
weekends and public holidays
as part of the duty roster.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices in Singapore is an advantage.
