About the Company: Our client is one of Singapore\'s leading waste management companies. The company provides a range of high quality, reliable services exclusively to their industrial and commercial customers from various industries such as petrochemical, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, power generation, electronics, marine, engineering, and semiconductor. The company operates out of a single, integrated Special Waste Management Centre comprised of nine main treatment and recovery facilities on a 7 hectare plot of land.
Responsibilities:
- Support of segregation of incoming waste and assign the waste to correct department, ensure the waste are being treated properly and safely.
- Provide a prompt and appropriate technical advice on the waste management enquiry which includes safe waste handling procedure and costing breakdown.
- Work closely with Sales and Operation department to establish a cost-effective treatment/recovery method for incoming/customer waste.
- Improve existing and develop new treatment methods.
- Ensure good housekeeping in the laboratory.
- Follow the existing system and documentation as per the procedures. Update the relevant records and effectively communicate to relevant departments and people.
Requirements:
- Min a Bachelor\'s Degree in Chemistry with at least 2 years of laboratory experience Good analytical abilities and communication skills
