Chief Commercial Officer / Senior Sales and Marketing Director - Animal Nutrition

Location: Malaysia, Johore or Singapore Based

Position Level: Director/Executive

Nature of Engagement: Permanent/Staff

Salary Range: Up To $180,000 SGD + Stock Options

The Company

The client is a rapidly growing player in the production of sustainable nutrition-based products for animal feed & agriculture industries.

The Role

You would be responsible for driving the company\'s sales and marketing strategy to ensure commercial targets are achieved in line with the company\'s production capacity. This is a role where you will be expected to grow a sales team as well as market the companies\' products to a wider audience. Some of the responsibilities are as follows (but not limited to)

\xc2\xb7 Lead on the planning & execution of the group commercial strategy

\xc2\xb7 Build strong relationships with current and new clients and strategic partners.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate and oversee consolidated commercial activity across multiple nationalities and sales teams.

\xc2\xb7 Prepare and present the business development strategy and annual performance to the senior management team.

\xc2\xb7 Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.

\xc2\xb7 Build out a dynamic, robust sales function across key geographies and product lines.

\xc2\xb7 Build and monitor reliable systems for pre- and post-sales support for clients.

Candidate Key Requirement

1. Degree qualified, ideally in agri-business, business management, finance etc

2. A Proven track record in sales and business development with at least 5 years of experience in a management role

3. An in-depth knowledge of the animal feed market is preferred however, candidates from aquaculture or fertilizer industries can be considered.

4. Experienced with launching new products.

5. Ideally experience gained in Southeast Asia

6. Experience designing and managing a sales process.

7. Fluent in spoken and written English
