The Right Profile

We are looking for an experienced Chief Finance Officer or CFO to perform effective risk management and plan Syfe\xe2\x80\x99s financial strategy. The candidate must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader since all relative departments of the organization will be under their command.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the company\xe2\x80\x99s finance function
• Be a financial and business partner to the CEO and fellow management team to help formulate financial targets and budgets in accordance with Syfe\'s group and country-level strategies
• Lead the team to ensure timely consolidated financial reports across operating businesses including monthly and quarterly reports, quarterly forecasts, financial planning and analyses as well as build a strategic structure and cadence for financial planning and review.
• Oversee all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audit processes (we are already audited by a Big 4), accounts receivable and payables
• Support fundraising efforts, investor relations and lead the due diligence planning, preparation and coordination process
• Grow Syfe\'s finance team; recruit and retain top talent, build organizational and team structures as well as processes to achieve a highly functioning and performing team
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in executive leadership roles
• Experience in managing ESOPs
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Problem solver and critical thinker mindset
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in scale-ups and corporates
• Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, business accounting, or finance
