Job Description


KEY OBJECTIVES & DELIVERABLES

  • Projecting the exciting and compelling ambition of the Group to all stakeholders by living the core vision and values of the Group (teams, members, investors, media, regulators etc.)
  • Lead and direct commercial and marketing strategy for the Group, in line with the Group’s published ambition for investors and stakeholders
  • Manage all sales, marketing and programming teams across multiple markets across the region
  • Inspire the wider team through compellingly articulating the vision of the Group
  • Drive culture through the organisation by bringing Mandala Group vision and values to life, consistently improving team engagement scores and retention
  • Own the reputation of The Group in collaboration with Comms and PR teams
  • Holistic marketing budget ownership

THE RIGHT PERSON A charismatic, highly social, and experienced senior marketing and communications professional most likely from a hospitality and/or entertainment background, with proven experience delivering high profile curated cultural and creative events and with in-depth knowledge of the Asia Pacific landscape. Someone possessing an unrivalled set of personal contacts who is able to think laterally, identify innovative event opportunities and work through the deal making, contracts and negotiations to secure them. A gifted communicator, relationship builder and networker, familiar with managing marketing channels and campaigns for a strong brand, ideating content strategies, managing agencies and driving below the line activity. Someone with a talented eye for communications design, imagery quality and copy excellence, able to drive compelling content and messaging through promotions, emails, websites and social feeds with ease.
  • A deeply analytical thinker with an ability to interpret through a solid understanding of market dynamics, investor and consumer
  • Clear and proven credibility in the membership club/member engagement space, and ideally in the corporate sponsorship and collaboration space
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional lifestyle experiences
  • Curious and passionate about consumers and building brands
  • Superb attention to detail; material produced is meticulously executed
  • Problem Solving; must be able to critically analyse and tackle problems and present viable solutions
  • Passion; this person needs to be passionate about M., hospitality and lifestyle.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit; must be able to deal with ambiguity and willing to take risks as needed
  • Strong communication skills; this person is able to present information (both written and oral) clearly and concisely. This person needs to be able to communicate clearly at all levels within an organisation.
  • Creativity; they need to be open to new ideas, adventurous and practical simultaneously.
  • Driven by the desire to win and for continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally
THE RIGHT EXPERIENCE
  • 10+ years previous relevant experience required with proven technical and analytical acumen
  • Fluent English speaker
