Hudson is representing a well-established Vietnamese organisation for an exciting opportunity within the Real Estate space. We have partnered with them on this search mandate and we are looking for a Chief Sustainability Officer to join their team in Vietnam.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to the CEO, the CSO will promote risk management culture, training and coaching programs for employees, relevant stakeholders (customers, shareholders, community) about laws, policies, procedures, and guidance on law compliances in relation to company\'s Sustainability Development.

SCOPE:

• Assesses and analyzes company policies and processes to identify areas in and processes to which improvements can be made in accordance with the organization\'s commitment to sustainable development and group\'s corporate governance framework.
• Promote international best practices to enhance the company\'s risk culture, values, and ethics.
• Identifies, proposes, and executes innovative and sustainable ways in which the company can control and balance organizational obligations in accordance with ESG framework and enterprise targets.
• Build an effective team to manage the implementation by focusing on a) Policy b) Operation c) Assurance as key criteria.
• Assesses, proposes, and implements strategies to promote circular economy that potentially have an effect to address various environmental concerns including energy use, conservation, reduction of pollution, recycling, and general education on sustainable development.
• Prepares relevant reports, presentations as assigned by CEO within ESG responsibilities and Enterprise risk management frameworks.
• Develops and maintains appropriate documentation and records including budgets, financial and non-financial.
• Identify and remediate any issues from current risk management coverage, internal audits, customer\'s feedback, government\'s inspection within the ESG framework and best practices.
• Organizational development requires a focus on the necessary collaboration with the RPC, CPM, Security and QAQC departments to maximize the Corporate Governance values and ethics. i.e. The primary objective of aligning to the overall corporation\'s Vision and Mission and increase the shareholder value.

THE QUALIFIED CANDIDATE:

• Educational background in relevant disciplines such as Environmental, Business Administration or other related fields
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Sustainability-related roles
• Excellent language skills in Vietnamese and English
• Collaborative spirit and strong internal stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of environmental and sustainability best practices
