THE ROLE

Digify is seeking a Chief Technology Officer experienced in building and scaling a global SaaS application. Working directly with our CEO, you will be responsible for guiding our engineering team to scale the Digify product. You will also work on improving our software/infrastructure architecture, and optimizing our engineering processes.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Be responsible for the growth, development and performance of the engineering team.
• Attract, retain and develop top quality talent. Coach and mentor team members.
• Ensure all engineering practices adhere to best security practices, and regulatory standards.
• Develop the long-term technical strategy to ensure security, scalability and reliability of the product.
• Guide the DevOps team to ensure the security and scalability of Digify's AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in product planning meetings to provide inputs to the product roadmap of the company.
• Translate the product requirements and design into a detailed development plan/backlog for the product.
• Work with the team to find technical solutions to resolve engineering issues and bugs.
• Work with lead engineers to set coding standards and conduct code reviews.
• Build quality assurance and data protection processes.
• Ensure that the development is on schedule and with a low number of bugs.
• Optimize deployment and CI/CD processes.

• At least 3+ years prior experience as a CTO or Head of Engineering experience, managing an engineering team size of between 10-50 people.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a proven success of building, developing and leading a world class engineering team.
• Strong technical ability and know-how. Broad knowledge of software engineering languages, frameworks, techniques, and industry trends
• Ability to solve complex technical problems with robust and secure solutions.
• Deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure.
• Good business sense.
• A degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
