Job Description


A Restaurant Manager you must have excellent interpersonal skills as well as experience in a restaurant environment. A good Restaurant Manager is able to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations.

Restaurant Manager Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring incoming staff complies with company policy
  • Training staff to follow restaurant procedures
  • Maintaining safety and food quality standards
  • Keeping customers happy and handling complaints
  • Organizing schedules
  • Recording payroll data
  • Ordering food, linens, gloves, and other supplies while staying within budget limitations
  • Supervising daily shift operations
  • Ensuring all end of day cash outs are correctly completed
  • Interacting with guests to get feedback on product quality and service levels
Restaurant Manager Requirements:
  • A high school qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working in the restaurant industry for at least 3 years.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Bookkeeping knowledge.
  • Ability to professionally address customer complaints.
