Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and design requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and standards, highlighting any discrepancies
Prepare and align the project schedule with the Project Master Schedule and notify the Project Manager of any potential issues that could affect timelines or budget
Monitor daily site progress and prepare detailed reports on tasks completed
Develop and submit Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Safe Work Procedures for site operations; propose any required temporary works
Plan and organise site work activities, including utilities, materials, and machinery, ensuring everything is in place for smooth execution
Coordinate with the design team on any technical or site issues and attend design and weekly meetings to stay aligned with project requirements
Participate in internal coordination meetings with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project progress
Lead daily tool-box meetings and pre-start meetings, providing guidance to supervisors and workers to ensure adherence to the work plan and safety standards
Review and sign PTW (Permit to Work), ensuring that safety protocols are followed and take responsibility for any violations or incidents
Conduct site inspections with Clients, RE/RTO, and close any RFI comments
Prepare material requisitions, and coordinate with Purchaser on material deliveries, ensuring quality and quantity compliance
Supervise daily operations on-site and report directly to Project Manager
Monitor and approve worker timecards, tracking attendance and productivity
Ensure all site works are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project specifications and drawings
Oversee instrumentation readings and report abnormal findings to management for timely resolution
Maintain effective communication with RE/RTO, and Project Manager regarding site activities and status updates
Foster and maintain positive relationships with all project stakeholders, including team members, subcontractors, and suppliers
Ensure all activities are in accordance with company policies and procedures
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field
Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience in data centres or the construction field
With experience in precast component planning, installation and coordination will be added advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and civil engineering software/tools (e.g., AutoCAD)
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team
