We are looking for a customer centric and positive candidate to join our growing team and drive a market leading approach to the Zurich Claims proposition!

Job scope will require a high performing candidate to assist and provide a quality administrative and claims management support to the growing claims department, including handling of Express claims as directed by senior case managers or functional managers.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong work ethic and the ability to execute on time lines and prioritise key work scope
  • Fresh graduates with degree or insurance diploma, albeit \'A\' level or good GCE \'O\' level with relevant work experience will also be considered
  • Good command of the English language
  • Strong attention to details and high numeracy skills
  • Prior experience using AS400 would be an advantage
  • Singapore working experience essential (for PR)
  • Team player with a strong desire to acquire skills in managing insurance claims and potential to progress further in claims handling
Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities
  • Direct all customer inquiries or claims to appropriate personnel or attend to personally.
  • Requisition and payments of accounts
  • Registration of new claims, and data cleanse activities as needed.
  • Responsible management of accurate data (as per Zurich claims guidelines and Global Claims Policy)
  • Be engaged in team meetings and projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives as required.
  • Work well and conduct clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with claim management for portfolio including follow up procedures, diary system management and professional communication with key customers, brokers and partners.
  • Ensure a diary system is maintained to facilitate adherence to time frames.
  • Ability to conduct basic administrative duties including: Provide prompt and accurate word-processing and related PC skills; Photocopying/filing/file location; Assist with archiving of claims files (when required)
Job Functions
  • Ensure proficiency in key tasks:
  • Handle tasks relevant to FNOL Centre, including acknowledgement of FNOLs, segmentation, assignment of claims to appropriate case managers as well as Express claims handling as directed by senior case managers or functional managers.
  • General administrative support to case managers and functional managers
  • Payments requisition and other related administrative processes
  • Comply with recommendations arising from claims audits/ reviews as required.
  • Apply a consistent claims approach, in accordance with the set procedures for the claims handled by the team.
  • Control, administration and co-ordination of workflow with respect to designated clients to ensure service standards remain at acceptable levels.
  • Candidate may also be sponsored for further education in claims management courses to develop capabilities and skills required to assess claims.
