Job Description
Responsibilities
- To monitor the contractor's plan & labor returns on a daily basis and supervise as required under the specifications.
- To ensure all the approved M & E materials are properly installed and acceptable method and according to approved drawing.
- Attend site meeting.
- Record and document all variation works.
- To inspect the construction work and compare it with drawings and specifications
- Identify the defects and suggest ways to correct them
- To monitor the progress and report to resident engineer.
- To keep detailed records of work
- To refer to plans and takes photographs of work, the measurements and samples
- To check building regulations, health and safety, legal and ecological requirements are meet.
Qualifications
- Degree, Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical
- Min. 3 years of working experience, preferably on construction sites.
- Registered as IOW (inspector of works), under electrical discipline with Board of Engineers Malaysia will be an added advantage.
- Able to work independently and good team player./ experience in construction and property development industry is a must.
- IT literate with good MS Office applications. Knowledge in MS Project and AutoCAD is an advantage;
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, and English.
