We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2023. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Watch your ambitions become reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at TikTok.
Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following internship cycles below: -
1. Summer Internship - 08 May 2023 to 28 July 2023 (12 weeks)
2. Off-cycle Internship - Starting 09 January 2023 or 14 August 2023
We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit in either internship period. Please state your availability clearly in your resume (Start date, End date).

About the Team
TikTok RTC is the world's leading real-time communications service, providing instant and high-quality multimedia interactions to customers around the world. We are building next-generation audio/video processing and interaction platforms to deliver high-volume, low-latency and rich Cloud as a Service technology.
Our popular products are empowered by our cutting-edge RTC technology. Working in this team, you will have the opportunity to meet the challenges of advanced audio/video algorithm design and global large-scale real-time communications interaction, while improving your skills in encoding, algorithms, data by working with many outstanding real-time communications professionals. Expertise in analytics and large-scale system design.
Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and maintaining real-time communication SDK with high-quality code.
• Continuously tracking and learning new technologies and new architectures.
• Willing to challenge and resolve technical problems.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Postgraduate currently pursuing a Degree/Master/PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Undergraduate or Postgraduate currently pursuing a Degree/Master/PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Prior internship as a Multimedia Developer is a plus;
• Prior experience working with one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Objective-C, and/or C/C++;
• Prior experience in developing or designing client-side applications.
