BSI is committed to building strong leadership in the Food Sector globally, this newly created role is part of the Global Food Sector team and will work closely with our champion team to build a robust Food business to differentiate BSI in the market, demonstrating to customers that BSI is the business partner of choice with the Food Industry. Key responsibilities & accountabilities Deliver Food Sector public training courses and introduce training courses to Food Sector clients Undertake Food Business Standards system assessments in accordance with BSI Food Sector Portfolio Prepare assessment reports and make presentations to deliver findings to clients to ensure client understanding of the assessment decision, the opportunity for improvements, and corrective action Lead assessment teams ensuring team members are adequately briefed so that quality of service and effective client and team working relationships are maintained Maintain and develop assessment/tutor skills, qualifications and technical knowledge Provide technical support to clients through business development and customer service staff Act as a Brand Ambassador for BSI. This means acting ethically, following company rules, and promoting BSI services to clients so they are able to optimize business performance and Make Excellence a Habit Key Performance Indicators Meet productivity KPIs for Assessment and Tutor related services. On-time delivery of assessment reports and positive client feedback Take ownership of scheduling, planning, and professional development objectives and KPIs Feedback efficiently to both clients and internal queries Positive attitude with a can do mentality able to execute reliably and resolve issues when needed. Add value to clients by identifying their needs and introducing appropriate BSI services to improve clients business performance and help them Make excellence a habit Help to avoid customer attrition by providing a quality value-added service Required Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications Educated to degree or Diploma level in Food Science, Technology, Agriculture or Environmental sciences or similar field with proven experience in Food Manufacturing, Retail or FMCG sector. Proven working experience of QC in Food Sector on food safety management and QHSE Qualified Food Safety Lead auditor and Food scheme Tutor qualifications. Assessors or Tutors with Multi-skilled capabilities in various Food Sector business system as listed below will be given priority: 1. Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) 2. HACCP related program - GFSI schemes [Global Food Safety Initiative [FSSC 22000, BRC, SQF ] 3. ISO Standards [ISO 9001, IS*************, ISO 45001 , ISO 20000] 4. Tutor Training with Train the Trainer (TTT) Qualification for any of the above schemes (preferred) Excellent customer focus with the ability to understand Customer needs and provide solutions Team player able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to motivate and engage. Proven ability to work collaboratively with peers and build client trust and partnerships Computer literate with strong abilities in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel in particular Willing to travel frequently within the country and occasionally overseas Be self-motivated, and flexible, with excellent time management/planning skills Resilient under pressure, with pragmatic adaptability Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail Ability to demonstrate BSI Excellence Behaviours: Customer Focus, Respect, Accountability, Communication, Achievement, Leading & Managing Others Our Excellence Behaviours: Client-centric, Agile, Collaborative.
