Both the Cloud and Applications pillar are key to the success of the vision of Telstra Purple both globally and here in Asia. We have a growth target and this role is vital as this will help the BD bring in the work and be across delivery from a technical leadership standpoint.Key responsibilities
Your key accountabilities and responsibilities include but are not limited to:General

• Consultant across Application Modernisation and New Applications \xe2\x80\x93 Covering:

o Orchestration (Kubernetes), Containerization (Docker)
o DevSecOps
o Re-Platforming of Databases
o Modern Data Platforms
o Cloud Native Applications

• Up to date with the latest trends
• Strong application development background to architect application migrations and development on cloud platforms

Delivery

• Work with teams to understand application infrastructure needs and to ensure these are developed and maintained during the life of the application
• Documents infrastructure and application architecture and ensure it is up to date.
• Help drive infrastructure as code using deployment automation tools, such as terraform.
• Have experience in implementing enterprise application using both IaaS, PaaS (platform services) like Azure App Service, Azure SQL, event hubs, stream analytics, document DB etc.
• Familiar with serverless technologies like Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, AKS etc.
• Build application containers (Docker, Docker-Compose)
• Knowledge in container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes
• Knowledge in CI/CD for both IaaS, PaaS and container-based hosting environments
• Coding/scripting (Bash, JavaScript, JSON, Yaml, etc.)
• Good knowledge of security fundamentals, including encryption, certificates, etc.
• Detailed knowledge of systems infrastructure, networking, monitoring and supporting tooling.

About YouTo be eligible for this role, we are looking for candidates with the following experience:The ideal candidate will have highly developed skills and experience in customer management, development, enterprise consulting and development solutions, including:

• Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with relevant technologies
• Experience in designing/delivery of key development solutions into Azure or AWS
• Experience in delivery of web front end development stacks such as HTML and JavaScript and/or experience in delivery of mobile development stacks
• Exposure to multiple agile methodologies, best practices and development technologies
• Ability to provide advisory and present solutions to clients
• Good communication skills, high level of technical expertise and extremely passionate about technology.
