Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Application Solution Architect to join our innovative team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, cloud-native applications, and full software development life cycle (SDLC), with a particular focus on public sector projects. This role requires an in-depth understanding of government compliance requirements, expertise in DevSecOps practices, and excellent team leadership and client-facing skills.Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions for public sector clients, ensuring compliance with government regulations.
• Lead the development and deployment of cloud-native applications, incorporating DevSecOps principles for enhanced security and operational efficiency.
• Oversee the full SDLC, from concept to deployment and maintenance, ensuring security is integrated at every stage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions with an emphasis on security and operational excellence.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members in cloud architecture and DevSecOps practices.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide expert, secure cloud solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in cloud technology, government compliance standards, and DevSecOps methodologies.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 3 years of experience in a cloud application solution architect role, preferably in the public sector.
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, cloud-native application development, and DevSecOps practices.
• Proficient in the full SDLC, including agile methodologies, with a strong focus on security and compliance.
• Strong understanding of government compliance requirements in the cloud domain.
• Proven leadership skills and experience leading technical teams.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
