Salary: Up to SGD $150,000 dependent on experience

SmartStream Technologies is looking for a highly skilled Cloud Network and Infrastructure Engineer to join its Managed Services Support team, working alongside our Internal System Group (Network Infrastructure team) and DevOps, to help build and support our client facing infrastructure.

You will be working alongside a global team of networking professionals, who are based in the UK, US, and India - you will be based in Florida/Jacksonville. You will be participating in designing, implementing, managing, and supporting our end clients cloud architecture from a networking perspective.

Having great attention to detail, and experience in participating in client facing projects, is essential. There may be some occasional international travel as work requires (and as COVID-19 restrictions allow).

To work in this team, you will have a Cisco IOS/ASA networking background with knowledge of routing and firewall switches.

A depth of experience working on public cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS). Microsoft Azure and IBM MQ is important to the success of the applicant.

As a Cloud Network and Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for managing, deploying, and maintaining key infrastructure projects for our customer base. You will provide expert technical assistance to other team members and colleagues, whilst delivering key projects that are aligned to strategic goals.

The successful candidate will be involved in working directly with clients to identify solutions, in addition to contributing the sales process in participating in RFP responses and technical questionnaires received from clients.

As the company is successfully growing its Managed Services and Solution Delivery business with changes to both on premise and cloud architectures, you will be someone who embraces this challenge and the ability to support and develop each.

Job Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide network knowledge to Managed Services and/or management team to help make decisions concerning the client network VPN to AWS environment.

• Work with Customers/Internal Technical teams to determine VPN to AWS/Azure Architectural Requirements and then produce technical documents, best practice whitelisting IP addresses.
• Create documentation as it relates to client network to AWS configuration, network mapping, processes.
• Work with Internal Systems Group (ISG) and vendors to ensure timely problem resolution.
• Work with ISG to plan and implement Managed Services network security including building/maintaining firewalls, applying encryption, managing device security and other related items.
• Develop and maintain adequate technical documentation on configurations, installations, network diagrams, backup/recovery, standards, and other related information.
• Responsibility for client RFI/RFP\'s determine Architectural Requirements for the Managed Service Products (FEMS/TLM/RDU)
• Liaise and work with DevOps re integration to AWS/Azure platform
• Advise DevOps re client VPN for building and supporting cloud infrastructure in production.
• Oversee aspects of our information security including intrusion detection systems and anti-malware in addition to monitoring
• Assist SaaS Operations with Linux System Administration

Key Skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrate thorough understanding of all network components.

• Demonstrate knowledge of network parameters to control, configure, and install various network environments.
• Provide demonstrable experience of your ability to work independently, working on your own initiative, be a self-starter.
• Expert knowledge of market leading routing and switching vendors such as Cisco.
• Advanced knowledge of WAN connectivity, transport types and protocols, including Ethernet point to point and VPN technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of network virtualization technologies including MPLS and VRF. Advanced knowledge of VPN and supporting technologies
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Ability to Design and Build IT Infrastructure based on on-premise, Cloud or Hybrid Infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of design and build of layer 2 and layer 3 Networks including switching, routing and virtual networking including SD-WAN and Wi-Fi Networks.
• Design of systems that utilise virtual infrastructure such as VMWare and Hyper-V product family.
• Excellent HLD/LLD design documentation skills
• Design and Operation of security products such as Firewalls, IDS, IPS and encryption devices
• Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as encryption, certificates, and key management
• Experience with general firewall configuration and support, including IPsec VPN configuration and troubleshooting
• Experience in Cloud Platform deployments Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and GoogleCloud.
• Proficient knowledge of AWS Networking services i.e., VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateways, WAF, NACL, SG etc.
• Experience of managing multiple 3rd party vendors, managed service providers and working effectively with 3rd parties.
• Knowledge of Linux System Administration - RedHat/CentOS General troubleshooting skills - network vs host, etc

Desirable Skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Solid containerisation experience, specifically using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s)

• Familiar with Serverless technologies
• Understanding of cloud monitoring tools
• Experience working within an DevOps, Cloud security or SRE function, with a focus on availability, reliability, and automation
• Skilled in conducting vulnerability scans and identifying vulnerabilities in systems.
• Good working knowledge of authentication technologies (e.g., two-factor, multifactor).
• Confident using Active Directory (e.g., GPO, DNS, DHCP).
• Knowledge of endpoint security solutions (e.g., HIDS, anti-malware, file integrity, DLP).
• Knowledge of IBM MQ implementation

• MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure

Experience \xe2\x80\xa2 3+ years of network engineering experience

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience required
• Cisco CCNP certification
• Full Driving License
• SSCP: Systems Security Certified Practitioner
• CRISC - Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control
• CEH: Certified Ethical Hacker
• AWS and Azure practitioner certifications
