DESIGNATION : Cluster Lead, Sales, Marketing and Communications, SMU Academy

RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales

  • Work closely with cross-channel teams (such as pillar heads and trainers) to achieve B2B and B2C targets for the Academy and increase the SMU Academy branding
  • Work closely with the pillars, clusters and other stakeholders (e.g., programme partners and trainers) to sell, upsell and cross-sell new and existing programmes
  • Lead and direct the sales team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
  • Drive sales team’s client engagement outreach and engagement initiatives for individuals and companies to upskill with relevant skills and knowledge
  • Leverage data and technology to monitor, analyse and report online sales funnel to identify opportunities to improve sales performance and to update Pillars Heads
Marketing
  • Manage and strategise the activities and processes of SMUA’s digital ecosystem including eDMs, websites and social media to grow brand’s influence and increase brand loyalty and awareness, with the aim of increasing traffic and driving revenue
  • Align content and creatives such as static images and videos for existing and new programmes on websites, social media and ads
  • Ensure the efficiency and optimisation of the digital ecosystem through SEO, SEM, and SMM
  • Responsible for the managing of digital marketing initiatives from ideation, ensuring proper execution, measurement, optimisation and ensuring all digital efforts are integrated and aligned to SMUA’s objectives and ensure consistency of SMUA’s digital tone and presence
  • Analyse metrics and present digital marketing reports and analysis
  • Work closely with the digital marketing agency and tech team to define digital advertising strategies and generate traffic, conversions and achieve revenue and ROI targets
  • Develop marketing and communications plan to span across all communication media (online and offline) and reach the appropriate target audience with proper segmentation, based upon specific performance goals
  • Manage the ad agency and internal team’s quality of work, timelines, and marketing budget
  • Ensure proper collection and documentation of participants’ testimonials
Communications
  • Ensure proper follow-up with customer-centric responses such as social media, emails, web, calls and manage crisis communications
  • Formulate and implement competitive strategies to achieve communication goals


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor Degree with at least 7 years of relevant work experience in Sales, Marketing, Communication or related field
  • Strong in Office Administration and familiar with procurement processes
  • Experience in advertising, digital media or similar roles
  • 2 to 3 years of work experience in the sector including the handling of corporate communications, and marketing
  • Great team player with a passion to drive results
  • Highly effective project management, strategic leadership, prioritisation, organisational skills and time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Enthusiastic with the ability to lead a team and motivate them to achieve their set targets
  • Experience in managing internal stakeholders and external agencies, including creative, media and print
  • Good understanding of marketing via various digital platforms
  • Familiarity with all major social media networks including Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Good understanding of digital practices such as SEO, SEM, SMO, and PPC
  • Meticulous and attention to detail
  • Possess a service mindset, aiming for service excellence towards internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and marketing automation tools
  • Previous experience in marketing and programme management in the education sector will be advantageous
