Overview of Role

As the Cluster Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote the hotel\'s brand, increase consumer awareness, and achieve business goals. You will work closely with the Cluster Director of Marketing Communications and oversee a team consisting of an Assistant Cluster Marketing Communications Manager and a Cluster Marketing Communications Executive.

What will I be doing?

Specifically, a Cluster Marketing Communications Manager you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

What are we looking for?

\xc2\xb7 Team Leadership: Lead and direct a team, including the Assistant Cluster Marketing Communications Manager and the Cluster Marketing Communications Executive. Delegate responsibilities, provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure collaborative efforts towards the hotel\'s marketing objectives.

\xc2\xb7 Hotel-Level Brand Messaging: Develop and implement differentiated brand messaging strategies at the hotel level, aligned with Conrad brand pillars, to bring the brand promise to life, ensure consistency, and differentiate the hotel from competitors. Monitor and maintain brand guidelines, ensure brand compliance in all marketing materials, and manage brand assets.

\xc2\xb7 Marketing Strategy and Campaign Execution: Develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the hotel\'s brand positioning and business goals. Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and vendors. Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.

\xc2\xb7 Digital Marketing: Work closely with the Marketing & Ecommerce Consulting Centre to monitor and analyze performance metrics, make data-driven decisions, and optimize marketing efforts for maximum results and return on investment (ROI).

\xc2\xb7 Social Media Management: Manage the hotel\'s social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, and monitoring of social media channels. Provide guidance and support to the Assistant Cluster Marketing Communications Manager and the Cluster Marketing Communications Executive in their social media efforts to drive consumer engagement and promote the hotel\'s offerings.

\xc2\xb7 Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Analyze marketing performance metrics, such as website analytics, social media analytics, and campaign results. Provide regular reports to the Cluster Director of Marketing Communications and other stakeholders. Use performance insights to continuously optimize marketing strategies and tactics and make data-driven recommendations for future campaigns.

\xc2\xb7 Team Development: Support the professional growth of direct report team members through training, mentoring, and opportunities for development. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, and innovation.

\xc2\xb7 Industry Trends and Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and innovations in marketing communications, digital marketing, and social media management. Conduct research, attend industry events, and network with peers to stay abreast of the latest developments. Share relevant insights and recommendations with the Cluster Director of Marketing Communications and the team to ensure the hotel\'s marketing strategies remain competitive, effective, and differentiated from competitors.

\xc2\xb7 Budgeting: Effectively managing the marketing budget, including planning, tracking, and reporting on expenses, to ensure marketing initiatives are implemented within budget constraints.

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years of successful integrated marketing experience in hospitality, travel, or luxury goods.
  • Proficient in digital marketing, content creation, social media management, email marketing, and website management.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and data-driven approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to create compelling content and communicate effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset, able to work with cross-functional teams and external agencies.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Tech-literate with design abilities and proficiency in relevant software.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to provide direction and coaching.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in marketing or equivalent experience.
