JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• MUST requirement: Mainframe Cobol with both experience in Job Scheduler (CA7) and Report Management System (RMS)
• Strong in job & program designing, data manipulation through sorting tools and system testing
• Competent & efficient problem-solver who maintains high work standards and always develops a strong working relationship with colleagues
• Working experience throughout the build phases of software development from requirement analysis, build/code, test and deployment of batch and online programs using Mainframe Cobol
• Working experience as production support investigating and resolving issues
• Development/Maintenance/Testing of new and existing in house and systematics programs

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Systematics Core applications - IMPACS, ST, RM, GL (Banking System)
• Gathers requirements with business, application and infrastructure team
• Knowledgeable in banking and retail system operations
• Proposes technical designs and development approach on assigned applications
• Creates, modifies and debugs jobs and programs based on technical specifications
• Uses Programming language and Tools - Cobol II, JCL, DB2 - SQL, VSAM, ISPF, DFSORT, SYNCSORT
• Writes test scripts and test scenarios based on the system specifications
• Creates test data that will satisfy every scenario during unit testing
• Testing validations during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Application Support
• Runs job and data validation of assigned applications as a post-deployment task
• Handles tickets resolution for business problems during support periods

Job Type: Full-timeSalary: Php65,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per monthSchedule:

• 8 hour shift
