Description
The Commercial and Client Success Director is a key leadership role that is responsible for the successful delivery and implementation of organisational wide strategic plans, financial growth models and business opportunities as instructed and directed by the CEO. As well as personally manage the hands-on delivery to the clients across the various business divisions.
Role works alongside the Heads of Technology and Commercialisation for each business division to successfully deliver and implement the technological offering to key client account. As well as strategize, plan and provide long term continual service and tech maintenance to the client\'s clientele.
In this role, the Commercial and Client Success Director should be able to have a good understanding of a range of industries, from sourcing and supply chain to technological services and sustainability & circularity. As well as being able to identify market needs, and keep up to date with industry & ESG regulations to translate this into business opportunities.
This role is:
Support and collaborate with Heads of Technology and Commercialisation for each business division to achieve client success in adoption of the client\'s technology and long-term client retention.
Take a leading role in solving commercial or client issues that may arise.
Develop and implement commercial strategies.
Monitor and report on commercial performance and client delivery.
Conduct market research, competitor research and analyse data.
Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Prepare models to assess future profitability of identified opportunities.
Work collaboratively in driving efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and delivered on budget and on time.
And any other task or duty which the client may request.
Profile
Bachelor/Master in Business, Finance, Management or MSc in material/ metal engineering
Experience operating a P&L unit &/or was responsible for a P&L unit
Experience in stakeholder engagement to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
Experience working in cross functional project teams in a complex, international and multicultural environment.
Experience in the ability to commercialise new solutions or applications.
Demonstrated business development experience in contributing to an organisation\'s commercial strategy that lead to client success.
Able to prepare and present high quality reports to key stakeholders.
Highly organised, detailed oriented, responsible, self-motivated and hardworking.
Ability to foster a strong collaborative spirit.
Have a hands-on approach and a fast learner.
Ability to work to deadlines.
Customer service oriented and very responsive to client request and communication.
Willing to travel extensively and work excess hours when required due to time zone differences.
Proficiency in a second language is a plus as the role will be working with international clients and stakeholders in other countries.
Technical Skills
Knowledge in metallurgy, material science, mechanical design and/or manufacturing processes (optional).
Knowledge of Health, Environmental and Safety Regulations (option
Knowledge in process design and risk management is an advantage
Competent in writing reports to clients and proposals for pilot projects & tech commercialisation.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
