A reputable and expanding shipping organisation is looking for an Assistant Manager of Commercial / Asset Management to join their Singapore team.If you would like to work for an established and growing shipping entity that values its employees, focuses on their development and operates to the highest of standards, this opportunity is not to be missed.You will be responsible for ensuring effective communication between Charterers, Ship Managers, P&I Clubs and internal stakeholders to deliver the safe, efficient and reliable transportation of LNG. This will include managing project budgets, OPEX, analysis of operations, ensuring contracts are executed in a timely manner and the relevant insurance policies are in place.To be qualified for this role you should have experience in a similar role, supported by a degree in a maritime related subject and a good working knowledge of tanker commercial operations. An understanding of shipping contracts (T/C and shipbuilding) and insurances is also required, as well as an understanding of financial statements.You must be a detail oriented person with excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a commercial environment.Candidates must be Singaporean or a Singapore PR to be eligible.
