As part of the Business Operations group for Commercial Banking, you are at the center of keeping JPMorgan Chase strong and resilient. You will help the firm grow its business in a responsible way by using your expertise in the Banking Operations, anticipating new products in the market and using your expert judgement to solve real-world challenges that impact our company, customers and communities.

Reporting locally to the Commercial Banking - APAC Business Operations Executive (BOE) Lead and functionally to the Commercial Banking - Global Solutions BOE, the successful applicant will be an energetic individual with the capability of multi-tasking and analytically reviewing processes to identify improvements.

This role requires a talented individual who can work independently and partner with other departments in a collaborative manner.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage with internal product partners to understand the impacts of risk and controls for new and significant changes associated with Banking and Liquidity Products including Credit and Lending.
  • Act as the liaison point between the International Coverage teams, CB Solutions, and the Business Operations teams to understand issues and act as a point of escalation within the region and raising to global partners as appropriate
  • Maintain strong risk and control framework for products and solutions including identification and resolution of issues and managing of second line reviews and regulatory inspections.
  • Collaborate with Business Operations Executive Team in executing the regional strategies and initiatives in line with business growth across all functions/locations
  • Coordinate and provide feedback on key regulatory changes in APAC that impact client solutions and product delivery.
  • Take the lead in understanding Technology issues impacting clients and CB APAC and work through with CIB and CB Technology and Operations partners to understand root cause and any onward action and communication that is required
  • Support regional CB and firm wide initiatives relating to Product, Credit and Lending and provide detailed updates to Regional and Global Management
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience ideally within the Client Service/Client Experience/ Risk & Controls/ Compliance function is required
  • Prior experience within the Financial industry is required
  • Knowledge in Cash Management is highly preferred
  • Adept in the use of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to undertake root cause analysis with strong project management skills to problem solve with solutions
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent
