The opportunity where you will make an impact:



Commercial Support

  • Provide finance business partner support to commercial teams in Southeast Asia, South Korea and Japan.
  • Review monthly P&Ls and assist in building P&Ls to evaluate strategic growth opportunities and to support decision-making.
  • Maintain sales outlook for the Asia region.
  • Design, evaluate and monitor rebate and promotional plans by partnering with the sales teams.
  • Review promo templates before submission for approval.
  • Support Regional FD in preparation of budgets/forecasts/latest estimate.
  • Track customers’ sell-out and inventory to ensure correct inventory level maintained at customer level.
  • Prepare monthly business review deck including analysis of results.
  • Ensure customer pricing is properly maintained in SAP.
  • Assist in ROI calculation of marketing spend.
  • Prepare, maintain and track business KPIs, including compliance requirement.
  • Prepare value chain analysis and scenario analysis as required.


Financial Reporting
  • Oversee the trade spend/rebate and marketing expense accrual process.
  • Oversee the month end close process to ensure accurate reporting of results.
  • Prepare forecasts and analysis of results on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
  • Provide support to the commercial teams in tracking trade and marketing spend.
  • Monitor and track daily sales orders and compare against budget/forecast/latest estimate.
  • Prepare sales reports by customer, region, and by product on a monthly basis or as required.


Customer Claim Review and Processing
  • Lead the review of and validate all claims received from distributors/customers prior to submission for approval from FD.
  • Track customer claims and ensure that they properly accounted for and match against accruals set-up for that purpose.


Ad-Hoc Projects
  • Assist in any ad-hoc projects required to support business growth and profitability in the region as well process improvements.



What you will bring to GPN:
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum 5-7 years’ experience in FMCG or similar within global MNC.
  • Experience in commercial financial and accounting practice, preferably international.
  • Experience in managing complex models across currencies, countries and regulations.
  • Well-developed English language skills (reading/writing and oral) with effective communication skills.
  • A working knowledge of SAP Business Objects preferred.
  • Experience in managing complex stakeholders and a passion for process improvement and automation.
  • Strong PC skills including MS Office; particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Hands on operator who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get the job done working independently with little supervision.
  • Strong problem solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Sound accounting, reporting and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be a team player and demonstrate dedication to company goals.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet varying deadlines and work volumes.
  • Self-motivated with initiative and performance driven.
  • Excellent analytical skills; able to identify and solve complex analytical problems and draw conclusions through analysis of data.
