, is seeking an experienced
Commercial & Legal Affairs Manager
to play a strategic role at the intersection of business growth, compliance, and operational excellence.
This is not a typical contract administration position -- you will serve as the
commercial guardian
of the business, leveraging your
legal knowledge and commercial insight
to manage high-value contracts, mitigate risks, and drive profitability.
Working closely with cross-functional teams across sales, operations, finance, and legal, you will ensure all commercial activities align with corporate objectives and environmental sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
Contract & Tender Management:
Oversee the full lifecycle of commercial contracts and tenders -- from bid preparation, review, negotiation to execution and renewal.
Legal Risk Review:
Evaluate and advise on potential legal and commercial risks, ensuring all agreements comply with internal policies and local regulations.
Commercial Strategy:
Collaborate with management to structure competitive and profitable offers, tenders, and service contracts.
Negotiation & Drafting:
Review and negotiate commercial agreements, subcontractor terms, and procurement contracts in collaboration with the legal team.
Performance & Compliance:
Monitor contract KPIs, manage claims or variations, and ensure timely, compliant delivery of contractual obligations.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a key contact for clients, partners, and subcontractors on commercial and contractual matters.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive best practices in contract management and contribute to process and policy enhancements.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in
Law, Business Administration, Engineering
, or a related field.
5-8 years' experience
in commercial management, contract administration, or legal advisory within
waste management, oil & gas, engineering, or construction
industries.
Strong grasp of
contract law, risk analysis, and claims management
.
Skilled in
drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Financial literacy and experience in budget or cost analysis.
Passionate about sustainability and contributing to ecological transformation.
