JOB SCOPE This person is an internal Go-To expert for techno-commercial advice and roll out of sustainable solutions in new energy transition, water and waste domains.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with business development or projects teams to identify opportunities for decarbonization (physical solutions and environmental attributes), sustainable energy, water and waste solutions in our urban development projects which includes industrial parks, commercial offices and residential properties across China and South-East Asia (particularly Vietnam and Indonesia).
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, project owners, domain experts, vendors, and clients to commercialize and implement the above solutions in accordance with the needs of end users and to support Sembcorp Development\xe2\x80\x99s sustainability commitments.
Support in implementation of environmental standards and/or eco-certifications across existing and new assets.
Contribute towards the development of new ESG solutions, include gathering of market intelligence, defining product requirement and business case development where relevant that will differentiate our urban offerings.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Information Engineering, Energy, Water Science & Technology or related discipline.
Ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of experience in new energy transition and/or water technology industry. Candidates with practical knowledge on the application of environmental attributes eg RECs, carbon credits are preferred.
Broad based domain knowledge in the smart city verticals of energy, water, mobility, security and/or smart building technologies would be an added advantage.
Ability to articulate technical concepts to audience of non-technical background effectively to achieve buy-in.
Proven internal and external stakeholder management skills including persuasion skills.
