Job Description


As the Asia Compensation & Benefits lead, you report to VP, Asia HR and support the strategy of the region (10 countries \xe2\x80\x93 China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam) by managing compensation and benefits policies that contribute to attract and retain the best talent.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the delivery of Compensation & Benefits programs that are designed to attract external and internal talents
  • Provide strategic advisory on salary decisions, policy interpretation and job evaluation
  • Optimally supervise the efficiency of various compensation and benefits programs, policies and recommend improvements consistent with standard methodology trends and company objective
  • Actively participate in creation projects and contribute to the implementation of new programs and new policies at the country level as well as at regional or global level. Projects might include mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations etc
  • Conduct annual or ad hoc compensation surveys for the region and disseminate the analyses, trends and results to ensure a level of competitiveness in line with the company\'s strategy
  • Provide recommendations on pay actions; external and internal recruitment utilizing survey sources, market references, internal equity, and other data as appropriate
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to assess and implement compensation, benefits and recognition programs that drive the achievement of business objectives and results
  • Ensure programs align to onsemi\xe2\x80\x99s compensation and benefit philosophy and meet local regulatory requirements. This also includes monitoring costs, financial impact, future funding requirements, competitiveness of package, ensuring adherence with regulatory, legal and best practice approaches
  • Expansion Program Management - act as subject matter expert for expansion activity within the region including setting up of new entities, new benefits and implementing global programs
  • Consulting \xe2\x80\x93 become a trusted advisor to corporate Compensation and Benefits team, local HR, payroll and our vendors to ensure high quality delivery of all compensation and benefit programs and initiatives
  • Lead yearly goal setting, performance appraisal, bonus payout, salary review cycle, and off cycle reviews
  • Projects initiative / implementation for regional as well as corporate level.
Qualifications
  • Degree in human resource, business administration or any relevant discipline
  • 10 or more years of experience in HR management with specialization in C&B function
  • Solid Asia regional exposure is a must
  • Strategic mindset and ability to analyze, review and drive existing and/or new compensation and benefit programs and initiatives
  • Good knowledge of market compensation and benefit standards to provide meaningful analysis and advice to assist management in decision making
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
