The Role

Where you fit in You will be responsible for Execution Planning of Capital Projects and Non-Routine Maintenance (NRM), and you will manage the execution activities through construction contractors. What\xe2\x80\x99s the role? As Construction Engineer, your key accountabilities include the following:

• Engineer support site work process and from construction standpoint to ensure no disruption to continuous production and no unnecessary shutdown extension.
• Maintain safety compliance to ensure Goal Zero. Engineer needs to keep all the safety measures in mind so that it is needed to work in compliance with the necessary safety norms.
• Acquire requisite knowledge about safety hazards and associated risk mitigation steps for process industry.
• Ensure quality plan is accordance to business requirement and any non-conformances are close out promptly.
• Ensure strategy development for site relating to capital investment is achieved by delivering projects/NRM/Plant Change Request (PCR) on time to cost and to sponsor expectation.
• The position requires the engineer to liaise with Production, HSSE, Inspection, Engineering, Technology, Finance, Logistic, project services department.
• The engineer will also need to manage contractors and third parties completing work at sites.
• The engineer is expected to act independently leading and managing tasks with minimum supervision from lead engineer.
• Participate in round table meeting with Production Unit Manager (PUM) to review/comment PCRs that are classified as Non-Routine Maintenance tasks.
• Participate engineering work review at early stage of the project and Plant Change Request PCR to provide constructive input to design team to prevent rework and optimize execution.
• To manage Plant Change Request (PCR) portfolio to ensure cost and schedule are well within budget and timeline are within RFSU date.

What we need from you To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant work experience
• Has proven ability to apply project management principle in execution of capital projects. Has deep capability to assess and evaluate cost, schedule, safety/integrity benefits of activities funded through capex/revex budget.
• Has the ability to identify material require to purchase, understand P&ID and evaluate proposal from contractors.
• Ability to scope, plan and coordinate non routine maintenance activities on process equipment associated with shutdown, pitstop, catalyst changeout.
• Ability to work and prioritize in a demanding environment.
