You will join our Waterdepartment This role will be based either in Singapore or Denmark. Together with the team and the global division of Climate Adaptation and Landscape Architecture, you will deliver high quality projects in line with Ramboll\xe2\x80\x99s standards in a working environment based on enjoyment, empowerment and added value for the client through close cooperation. The team is very diverse, in line with the Ramboll policy, and consists of a mix of technical specialists, GIS experts, engineers, landscape architects and projects managers within Climate Adaptation and Landscape. As part of the department\xe2\x80\x99s technical team, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide variety of tasks within the Civil Engineering and Deputy Project Management Roles. We see you working on the following types of projects:
Water and Climate adaptation projects in Denmark, Singapore and Internationally
Water and Climate adaptation projects for IFIs
International multi-sectoral masterplanning projects \xe2\x80\x93 especially new urban developments
You will also be expected to contribute actively to the development of the department\xe2\x80\x99s technical set of tools and services, with the expectation to be highly billable, working on projects. We expect you to be a passionate skilled team player who proactively engages with project team members to deliver through an open, positive and empathetic attitude. We also expect you to contribute in project management through a similar engaged and open way. You should further be able to thrive in a multicultural environment and use your strong social skills to build lasting relationships with both clients and colleagues across the organization. Among others, your tasks will include:
Technical project work (70%)
Leading analytical processes on above mentioned projects, through application of software such as Mike by DHI, CADSS by DHI, ArcGIS, FME, etc.
Technical oversight of engineering design and modelling for projects delivered for clients
Rapid Flood Hazard assessments
Build model and validation of inland and coastal networks
Flood hazard mapping
Options Analysis
Technical support on multi-disciplinary projects with strong focus on all water-related components, incl. overseeing Designs & Drafting as a Team Member
Supporting the design management and project management
Site Visits of Inspection, including regional projects
Report drafting, proposal writing, minutes of meetings, etc.
Project Management (20%)
Interest in learning and developing the project management discipline, incl. contract administration duties, progress reporting and client management
Support quality and financial performance of projects
Maintain a strong client focus
Demonstrate integrity and empowerment when delegating problem solving tasks to project team members, incl. staff training and mentoring
Coordinate tender preparation for projects
Representation of Ramboll to external parties
Miscellaneous (10%)
Operational areas such as office management, finance, IT, input to overall strategic and administrative work in Ramboll Water
Secondment to another consultancy or business

A Bachelors/Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree as an urban planner or engineer
5 years of experience, preferably on multi-disciplinary projects with significant climate adaptation focus from planning to implementation \xe2\x80\x93 e.g. Storm Surge Protection, Green Infrastructure, Low Impact Development etc.
Experience in project management and engaged in the role as a project manager will be an advantage
Commercial understanding of products and services
Previous stakeholder and communication experience
Through your entrepreneurial mindset you can identify and react to market trends quickly
Strong English language skills (written and verbal), along with strong communication and negotiating skills
Experience working on International Financial Institutional and/or development projects (e.g. World Bank, ADB) in the region will be of advantage
