Responsibilities
A. Leads Asia Consumer Fragrance Marketing and Consumer Research teams, sets departmental strategy and priorities;
B. Create and sustain Symrise competitive advantage through continuous innovation and advancement of Marketing and Consumer Research tools
C. Manage and cultivate the Asia Consumer & Market Intelligence talent to be a best in class, high performing team; providing expert guidance, building career paths and by developing training and succession plans.
D. Responsible for developing, controlling and monitoring Asia Marketing & Research budgets.
E. Communicate and collaborate with global and regional Marketing & Research colleagues to ensure standard practices and ways of working, open information sharing across regions and category platforms. Support local portion of global platforms.
F. Oversee external vendor partner relationships. Negotiate and manage secondary data vendor contracts.
G. Engagement/partnerships with relevant influencers, trend setters, marketing institutions, research institutions, universities, media, ad agencies, etc. (5%)
