Content is central to Impact's greater mission of empowering and growing the partnership economy. To help achieve this goal, the Content Marketing Manager works closely with the Content Director and different subject matter experts (SMEs) within the organization, such as the leadership team, product marketing team, partner and CSM teams, the design team, and demand gen/programs teams. This role requires staying abreast of industry events and changes, which informs their development of a range of multimedia content (blog posts, infographics, eBooks, microsites, videos, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a content strategy that aligns with marketing targets both long term and short term.
  • Liaise between the marketing programs department, product marketing, content marketing, and design team in the organization.
  • Manage, track, and collaborate with a team of freelance writers
  • The content marketing manager must understand the problems customers have so the company can produce valuable content for prospects.
  • Refreshing existing content and updating it with the latest information and SEO best practices.
  • Collaboratively develop site content٫ design٫ and layout alongside design and marketing teams.
  • Oversee the creative team assigned to producing media content for product marketing, content marketing, and marketing programs teams, conduct performance reviews, and enforce writing standards.
  • Remain current on developments and generate new ideas to draw attention of the audience.
  • Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics.

  • Adept at researching, writing, and editing high-quality content that addresses the target market's challenges.
  • Proficient in brand building and monitoring brand positioning, messaging, tone, and voice.
  • Proven work experience as a content manager in a B2B environment. Experience with content strategy, planning, and management.
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Verifiable experience with Google suite (Docs, sheets, slides, data studio), Asana, Confluence, Slack, and WordPress.
  • Comprehension of and familiarity with social media.
  • Proactive, professional, and detail oriented.
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, or relevant field.
