About the RoleAs Content and Media Relations Manager APAC, you will provide strategic and tactical communications support to External Communications leads across Asia-Pacific in all areas and issues, with a particular focus on media relations, content creation and digital engagement including advertising and social media metrics.You will be responsible for Swiss Re Asia\'s content and media relations plan across the region to raise awareness of Swiss Re\'s Re/insurance capabilities with external stakeholders.Key Accountabilities:

  • Oversee Swiss Re Asia\'s regional media strategy - including oversight for training, messaging, targeted publications/editorial calendars and digital content curation
  • Lead all media activities to maximise the utilisation of Swiss Re Group\'s knowledge and expertise across all businesses
  • Draft articles for media and measures its effectiveness, work with third party vendors/Group Communications on content generation
  • Has responsibility for key message development and consolidation to drive the awareness of Swiss Re Asia\'s offerings and value proposition across business functions (Re/insurance, Corso & iptiQ)
  • Supervises media monitoring for the region and implements measurement methodology to monitor effectiveness and provide management reporting to drive awareness of success stories
  • Implements an effective mix of communications tools and measures - e.g. social media campaigns, publications, advertising, drafting of articles for media (in close liaison with Group Media Relations) and measures its effectiveness
  • Develops a strategic plan for digital campaigns and social media presence based on business priorities in Asia and Group goals
  • Assists Head Group Communications APAC on the production, editing and distribution of messages, speeches, holding statements and media outreach

  • A University degree or equivalent in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration
  • 5-7 years of professional-level experience
  • Outstanding storytelling and writing skills, journalistic background would be an advantage
  • Proven skills in deploying social and digital media
  • Strong project management and planning capabilities
  • Hands-on experience in delivering creative, efficient and effective employee focused marketing initiatives
  • A healthy level of attention to detail
  • Stamina and persistence to pursue new ideas
  • Confident in consulting executive management
  • At ease to liaise at all hierarchical levels
  • Able to deal with stakeholders decisively
