Job Title: Contract End User Computing Specialist

We are hiring under Recruit Express headcount and you will be deployed to:

Location: North

Pay: $2500-$3000

Duration: 6 Months Contract under Recruit Express Payroll

Working hours: Office Hours

Responsibilities:

You will be the specialist for a suite of End User Computing (EUC) equipment and software. Your daily tasks include:

• Remote and deskside support to users.
• Carry out various operations tasks to keep EUC equipment and software operational.
• Day-to-day coordination with maintenance and operations support vendors, to achieve the outcomes set out for your area.

IT Service Desk user support:

• Manage the Service desk and provide deskside and remote support to users.
• Resolve incidents reports, through deskside / remote troubleshooting and user support.
• Fulfil service requests initiated by users.

Maintenance (Preventive and Corrective):

• Systems maintenance and administration

• Carry out routine maintenance of EUC equipment and software
• Carry out upgrades and other cyclical maintenance on EUC equipment and software
• Rectify faults or defects in EUC equipment and software
• Execute operating system and EUC software patch deployment

Documentation management:

• Maintain up-to-date inventory lists
• Maintain up-to-date asset inventory, CMDB, and associated artefacts

Requirements:

• A Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 1 year working experience in IT
• Experience in the management and maintenance of end user equipment and software is a must
• Technically passionate and detail oriented: Candidate must be comfortable with IT technologies and has keen attention to technical details.
• Conscious of, and able to work with timelines: The candidate must be able to work with timelines and be conscious of deadlines. There are technology lifecycle dates and maintenance windows that the candidate must work within.
