Who we're looking for

A contractor who is opened to a 6-month contract.

Schroders Enterprise Change is growing in its delivery of large scale, cross group change. A Regulatory Change Manager, capable of leading diverse and time bound projects, spanning multiple teams with differing specialisms, is needed to further support the multi-year programme of ESG Regulatory Changes.

The projects and activities led by the successful individual will support Schroders aims of becoming a top-tier ESG organisation by ensuring compliance to regulations and improved customer experience, and where possible to deliver leaner processes.

We require an individual with an excellent track record of delivering regulatory change projects within financial services. It is expected that the individual will be able to work effectively with a broad range of SME's.

The Regulatory Change Manger will be accountable to the ESG Regulations Programme Manager / Head of Enterprise Change, but will also work significantly with business sponsors across the organisation, including the global Legal and Compliance teams.

The team

You will be part of Group Change at Schroders. Group Change designs and delivers solutions to enterprise level challenges and consists of a number of specialist practices: Business Consulting, Business Design, Lean and Agile Operational Excellence and Enterprise Change.

This role is within the Enterprise Change Team. We are a friendly, supportive and collaborative team comprising of Change Managers, Change Analysts and ePMO specialists who manage the delivery of Enterprise wide cross-domain change programmes and projects.

What you'll do

  • Manage the delivery of regulatory projects and activities in relation to ESG requirements
  • Work with the senior stakeholders to ensure clear, consistent reporting and to ensure that the deliverables of projects remain clearly focused on targeted outcomes. Help educate stakeholders on how regulatory change is most effectively managed.
  • Work with business stakeholders, including Legal and Compliance teams.
  • Co-ordinate project committees and working groups as required.
  • Support the ESG Programme and other change resources engaged in the ESG Regulatory programme in order to matrix-manage priority activities.
  • Create and maintain project plans with clear milestones to demonstrate the roadmap of ESG Regulatory Change across the organisation.
  • Manage communication of progress and changes to the wider organisation
  • Ensure financial diligence & reporting of the programme is adhered to working to secure delivery within budget.
  • Excellent risk management
  • Manage dependencies across the programme and within the wider 'ESG Programme'.
  • Practice, develop and promote the use of Group Changes standards for change.
  • Manage effective project handovers, monitor post implementation results and feedback.
  • Conduct post implementation reviews to ensure the ESG Regulatory programme continuously improves.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
  • Experience and knowledge of Asset Management Industry.
  • Proven delivery record of regulatory projects.
  • Ability to manage and motivate diverse sets of teams across multiple functions.
  • Evidence of multiple senior stakeholder management
  • Strong collaborative skills and when appropriate influence across a broad, senior stakeholder base.
  • Ability to deliver difficult messages where necessary and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
  • Evidence of resolving challenging issues and contributing to end state solutions.
  • Methodical and detail orientated.
  • Able to make trade-offs to ensure priority value items are delivered.
  • Can drive to make decisions.
  • CFA ESG qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of sustainable investing
  • Understanding of delivery in an Agile manner, and understanding of the Lean approach
  • Experience of SAFe working practices
