Contract administration including liaison with clients, authorities, QPs, architects on contractual matters
Provide contractual advisory to ensure senior management, project managers and all relevant project staffs understand, aligned and comply with specific contract requirements and procedures
Advise on contractual risk management including risk analysis, identification of risk and propose measures to minimise exposure to these risks in terms of costings, technical specifications
Familiar with PSSCOC, SIA contractual legislations and SOP Act
Lead in notification on extension of time, contractual claims, variations and any related loss and expense claims to the client and/or assessing and reviewing of extension of time, variations and any related loss and expense claims by sub-contractors
Able to deal with disputes arises from project execution amicably with the relevant internal and external stakeholders
Provide procurement strategies and advise the key points of cost control in sub-contracting and potential variation orders to ensure provisions are catered for within cost and time.
Advise on negotiating contract terms and conditions with subcontractors/suppliers
Settle final account with client and sub-contractors
Requirements
Possess recognised Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Quantity Survey or Civil Engineering.
At least 12 years of experience in Quantity Survey for Civil Engineering or Building works, and 7 years in building projects
Team player with excellent leadership and problem solving skills
Excellent written and spoken communication skills, interpersonal skills and negotiation skills
Excellent building technical knowledge and experiences with the full range of contractual management, contracts administration, dispute resolution, cost management
