Participate in the general definition of commercial strategy, sales objectives and business rationales.
Draft, and amend individual sales contract documents (Proposals, Letters of Intent, Memoranda of Understanding, Purchase Agreements and Amendments, Lease Agreements, as applicable) in order to reflect in detail the mutual obligations of Airbus S.A.S and its Customers as globally negotiated by Airbus S.A.S. and guarantee that the contractual documentation accurately reflects the agreement reached between Airbus S.A.S. and its customer(s)
Ensure that the contracted obligations and returns are consistent with (or represent the best compromise between) Airbus S.A.S.’ industrial, technical, legal or any other constraints or capabilities and Regional BU objectives, in particular as regards deal profitability and risks.
Monitor the fulfilment of Customer obligations and propose recommendations to amend contracts in the event of Customer changing requirements, defaults or contentious issues as they may arise.
Ensure that information concerning negotiated commitments is made available to all relevant Airbus entities liable to fulfill these commitments, and provide advice or clarifications on the background as may be necessary.
Support the validation of each business control sheet (or other business control tools) (hereinafter called as BCS) with a view to verifying the contractual integrity of the transaction documentation. BCS being validated by Head of Contracts
Ensure that the risks and obligations created by the Sales Contracts are in line with the terms negotiated by Airbus S.A.S and the Customer(s) and are acceptable to Airbus S.A.S.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ of working experiences
Team leader and team-player, able to lead, engage and coordinate multi-functional negotiation teams
Working experiences in Aviation industry
Knowledge of contract law in an international context
Proven experience in negotiation
Ability to structure large and complex contractual documents
Proven drafting skills
Strong sense of rigor, strong analytical skills
Knowledge of financial tools.
Effective communication and relationship skills
Agility to work in a diverse environment
Business culture, experience in Asia and/or Pacific being an asset
Autonomy, engagement, resistance to pressure
Languages: negotiation level in English, additional language knowledge being an asset
Availability: prepared for travel on short notice and long absences away from base
The job holder may be required to be in Toulouse, France for training for a year
