Job Description


  • Contract administration including liaison with clients, authorities, QPs, architects on contractual matters
  • Familiar with PSSCOC, SIA contractual legislations and SOP Act
  • Lead in notification on extension of time, contractual claims, variations and any related loss and expense claims to the client and/or assessing and reviewing of extension of time, variations and any related loss and expense claims by sub-contractors
  • Able to deal with disputes arises from project execution amicably with the relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide procurement strategies and advise the key points of cost control in sub-contracting and potential variation orders to ensure provisions are catered for within cost and time.
  • Advise on negotiating contract terms and conditions with subcontractors/suppliers
  • Manage final account with client and sub-contractors
Requirements
  • Possess recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Survey or Civil Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Quantity Survey for Civil Engineering or Building works, and 3 years in HDB building projects
  • Team player with excellent leadership and problem solving skills
  • Good written and spoken communication skills, interpersonal skills and negotiation skills
  • Good building technical knowledge and experiences with the full range of contractual management, contracts administration, dispute resolution, cost management
  • A high level of integrity, dependability with a strong sense of urgency and result oriented
