Contract Duration: About the team you are joining Reporting to the Head of Administration Geneva and Travel Services, will provide a professional customer focused travel services to cater for business and personal travel requests for IATA employees and support other areas as requested. What your day would be like Supervise and lead, day\xe2\x80\x90to\xe2\x80\x90day, operations of the outsourced Travel Management Company (TMC) in the responsible area in order to provide a fit to purpose travel solution;
Proactively engage with IATA internal stakeholders to anticipate their travel needs and thus help them manage travel cost;
Support negotiation of contracts with airlines and hotels, tracking their performance and maintaining a productive relationship with the travel community, in order to continuously improve the service level provided to IATA employees;
Coordinate and develop travel benefits, support concessionary travel arrangements for IATA employees within ZED business scheme and guide them with personal travel queries;
Monitor safety for travelers while they are performing their mission and providing immediate support in case of major security breach in his region (i.e. act of god, terrorism, major accident, etc.);
Liaise with internal stakeholders to help with any relevant travel queries in relation but not limited to visa and health requirements; etc. ;
Advice travelers in order help them comply with IATA\'s internal business travel policies and procedures;
Provide fit-for-purpose statistics report to increase internal visibility and support vendor management as well as negotiation;
Coordinate general administrative matters, and addressing other ad\xe2\x80\x90hoc queries, as requested by the Manager Travel Services.
We would love to hear from you if Undergraduate degree, in a relevant discipline, is essential, whilst an IATA Travel Agent certificate would be a benefit;
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the airline or travel industry;
Excellent working experience of ticketing, hotel reservations, management of staff travel benefits, and negotiation with travel entities (airlines, hotels, car hire, etc.);
Proven vendor management experience;
Effective team player, with outstanding interpersonal skill, ability to communicate effectively;
Experience in multicultural environment.
Solid IT skills, including a good knowledge of MS Office and travel computer reservation systems (Amadeus, My ID, etc.);
Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal, is essential, whilst knowledge of other language would be a definite advantage. Travel Required: N
