Job Description

Reporting to the Centre Supervisor, you will work collaboratively to support the daily operations of the assigned Active Ageing Centre (AAC), ensuring its activities and services align with the objectives set by funders and Loving Heart (LH).

Key Responsibilities

1. Programme Facilitation

Conduct active ageing programmes within and beyond the centre to engage seniors. Provide befriending and buddying services to frail and vulnerable elderly in their homes. Coordinate and facilitate communal meals for seniors, including participant engagement, F&B ordering, and event setup

2. Social Support & Community Engagement

Serve as a social connector, supporting seniors in adhering to health plan recommendations through social and lifestyle interventions. Conduct community outreach and assess the needs of elderly residents within the designated service area. Make referrals to appropriate services for elderly individuals in need of further assistance.

3. Administrative & Reporting Duties

Enrol new members, maintain accurate attendance records, visitation notes, and compile data or statistics required by funders. Manage invoicing, fee collection, cash handling, and banking. Oversee documentation, including report submissions, claims, and filing. Assist with audit preparations and documentation.

4. Centre Operations

Perform various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the centre. Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the reporting officer.

Qualifications & Requirements

Relevant qualification in eldercare or social services At least 1 year of experience in direct operational roles, especially in eldercare, including programme facilitation and needs assessment Experience in stakeholder management, particularly with community partners Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong administrative and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented yet capable of working independently Enjoys engaging with seniors and volunteers

Pay: $2,300.00 - $2,900.00 per month
