Job Description

and Responsibilities:

• Researching market conditions and developments
• Devising M&A strategies and developing M&A priorities by business segments
• Conducting market scans to identify companies that might be viable acquisition targets
• Conducting preliminary due diligence to assess suitability of targets, and preparing business case for M&A opportunities including business impact and risk analysis
• Carrying out financial modelling as part of the assessment of M&A opportunities
• Project management of transactions, including management of due diligence process involving financial, tax, legal, commercial and human resources, and negotiation of M&A transaction agreements
• Development and execution of corporate and business unit level strategy, including:
• o Co-ordinating and executing post-acquisition integration plans with investee companies
• o Developing and overseeing value creation initiatives of existing portfolio companies including identifying financial and operational efficiencies and improvements, scope for development of operational capabilities and other investment areas
• Support other corporate development activity, including:
• o Analysis of industry trends, competitive threats, expansion opportunities and internal performance to support C-level decision making
• o Supporting management on other business development opportunities

• Bachelor Degree graduate in Finance or Accounting or higher in relevant field
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in corporate finance or M&A capacity
• Technically strong in building financial models with good business acumen in analysing market and business trends
• Good in presentations, negotiation with excellent communication skills
• Adept at project management and able to multi-task and work with tight deadline
• Able to work independently
• Creative problem solving
• Meticulous and organized
• Deals advisory or Big 4 valuation experience is an added advantage
• Possess excellent command of written & spoken English and Chinese will be an added advantage
• Those who can start immediately or within a short notice period will have an added advantage.
