What the role is:As a member of the Corporate Planning Section under the Strategic Planning and Research Group, you will be responsible for driving the corporate planning process in HDB to formulate and monitor the implementation of HDB\'s near-, mid- and long-term plans and strategies in response to emerging strategic issues and in alignment with national priorities.What you will be working on:Your responsibilities may include: Strategic Futures and Foresight \xe2\x80\xa2 Performing horizon scanning to identify emerging issues that might affect HDB and the future of public housing in the long-term \xe2\x80\xa2 Conducting in-depth research and sense-making to understand and translate these issues into actionable insights and problem statements \xe2\x80\xa2 Preparing foresight reports and presentations to sensitize key stakeholders to these issues and facilitate forward-planning Strategy Formulation and Performance Monitoring \xe2\x80\xa2 Setting organizational priorities and goals to address emerging issues and in alignment with national priorities \xe2\x80\xa2 Charting effective corporate plans and strategies to achieve the priorities and goals in the near- to mid-term \xe2\x80\xa2 Communicating HDB\'s priorities and corporate directions to key stakeholders to drive strategic coherence and coordination \xe2\x80\xa2 Developing and monitoring metrics against HDB\'s corporate plans and strategies to track progress, ensure their continued relevance and enable course correction, where necessary In addition, you will be expected to provide secretariat support to HDB\'s Senior Leadership Team for key meetings and events.What we are looking for:We are looking for someone with the following qualities and qualifications: \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess an analytical mind and the ability to synthesize a broad range of information into clear, coherent and actionable insights \xe2\x80\xa2 Not afraid to think out of the box and present alternative views \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to multi-task effectively and work in a dynamic environment, at time under tight deadlines and with some ambiguity \xe2\x80\xa2 Comfortable with engaging different stakeholders to drive fruitful collaborations \xe2\x80\xa2 Self-motivated, resourceful and a team player \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to communicate clearly in both written and verbal form \xe2\x80\xa2 Quantitative skills and/or prior experience in corporate planning work is appreciated \xe2\x80\xa2 Relevant background related to corporate planning or the built environment (e.g., business, economics, sociology, geography) is preferred All applicants will be notified on whether they are shortlisted for the position within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.About Housing and Development Board:We are Singapore\'s public housing authority and a statutory board under the Ministry of National Development.
