Our Client:

Our client is a leading manufacturing public listed company in the U.S. and they are actively looking to hire a Cost Accounting Supervisor to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

• Costing functions such as standard cost amortization, variance analysis, cost summary review, etc.
• Annual standard cost updates in Oracle system
• Review and manage AR including collection, cash application, credit limit, invoice transmission, dispute resolution, etc.
• Review and manage distributor\'s Ship & Debit claims
• Audits - assist in inventory and distributors audits. Some (minimal) travelling needed
• Inventory E&O provisions, account reconciliation, in-transit review, distributor inventory reconciliations, etc.
• POS review, upload, and validation
• Accruals for various items such as samples, adders, wafer receipts, etc.
• Return Material Authorization accruals and review
• Rebate review, accrual, authorization, and payment
• Discrepant Material Requisition validation and review process
• Liaise with auditors on specific item related to duties specified
• New System implementation and projects
• Any other duties as may be assigned by Finance Manager or Director

The Requirements:

• 8 - 10 years\' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Audit experience in reputable public accounting firm
• Have a Chartered Accountant, Institute of Cost Accountants (ICMAI), MBA or CPA
• Have 2 years plus of supervisory experience
• Good excel skills (Pivot table, Vlookup, etc.)
• Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business Admin
• Proficient in MS Office, SAP/ ERP/ Oracle
